In October we let you know that ‘This Side of Sunday’ would be coming in to Tesco Productions to record their first CD. Well it’s now completed and will soon be back from the replicator and in their hands. A lot of effort went into this recording and they’re very excited about this release and we think you will be too. If you enjoy bluegrass music with a contemporary edge and clear Christian message, then go to our audio clips gallery, or their facebook page and website. ‘This Side of Sunday’ has set their CD release concert for Saturday, February 5 at 6pm. It will be held at Refuge Bible Church, 634 Willow Ave. in Council Bluffs, IA (very near Bayliss Park).
Congratulations guys!
Bob Everhart (National Traditional Music Association) just got his ears on this CD. “Hi Tom…..WOW, I just listened to This Side of Sunday’s new CD. Boy am I impressed. You did an amazingly good job on the mix, the sound, the presence and the resonance. I don’t think I’ve heard a local acoustic group sound so good before. Many, many thanks for doing such a good job. All these guys need is a little break here and there, and even though they are not of this world, they certainly are part of Jesus’ miracles. Thanks Tom for such a beautiful piece of work…very much. Better than Nashville any day.”
Congratulations on your new CD! Great job & great harmony. Tom Sharman did a super job. He is the BEST!
Upon hearing their CD for the first time Mark (Buck) had this to say. “Hi Tom: Buck here, from This Side Of Sunday, banjo/dobro. Say, the boyz just let me listen to the final master. Wow! It is fantastic!! The voices are so clear, the instruments so good…. just a super, super job. Tom, thanks again! You went above and beyond!” And I just can’t keep him quiet. Upon hearing the compilation – “SUPER, SUPER SUPER JOB ON THE SAMPLER TOM! YOU ROCK MAN!!!”
