Life and Events Dramatically Changed by Coronavirus

It’s kind of difficult to know where to begin as the landscape of our daily activities and work lives take a sudden turn and we all adjust to huge impacts brought by this invisible attacker. The last post I wrote had One For All Musical Theater and Tesco Productions working furiously preparing for a planned March presentation of an all original musical of Phantom of the Opera. It never happened as events and gatherings were being cancelled. It’s now planned for March 2021 and we’ll keep working to have it even more polished by then, but in the meantime maybe we can use some of this “down time” to take stock of so many things we often take for granted – not the least of which is the normally healthy environment we’re privileged to live in. Then there’s being able to regularly visit family & friends, gather for church and business meetings, and oh yes – buy toilet paper (still haven’t figured that one out??!) and the list could go on of course . This is likely to be a long haul as a number of the measures we’ve taken to stem this predator are having significant impact, and will not soon erase their mark when we’re past the critical stages. I guess I’m being more and more reminded that everything in this life is subject to change (sometimes very suddenly and without our “permission”), and that the only thing sure is the eternal nature of our souls and the God who did not wake up one morning and realize this had all caught Him by surprise.
