The Kopsa Family Records Third CD

In March I mentioned the Kopsas were planning to record their third CD at Tesco Productions. There was a pause for a significant family event following the recording, which I hinted at in that same post. We’ve now runoff the initial mix of those songs and our goal is to have the final product done later in June. It promises to be an enjoyable listen as you’ll hear the family “groups” in three stages of ensemble over the years – some now quite older than the previous recordings.
Oh, that significant event? One of the persons in this pic no longer has the same last name. The Kopsas in the Tesco Productions control room.

Tesco Productions Engineers Audio For Annual Home Instead Senior Care Convention

Console Tesco Productions operated at CHI Health Center for Home Instead Senior CareOnce again this month Tesco Productions had the opportunity and responsibility to provide front of house audio engineering in the CHI Health Center Convention Center ballroom. The convention center was host to the annual Home Instead Senior Care international convention and 25th anniversary celebration. It’s always great to reconnect with the staff of Home Instead and the many people working behind the scenes in a huge variety of audio/visual and support positions throughout the week. I continue to be impressed with companies that operate like Home Instead Senior Care and know first hand the value of services provided for an elderly parent in my family, although a company like theirs is not available in that rural area. Until next year.View from audio console for Home Instead Senior Care Awards Gala

One For All Musical Theater Embarks On Next Production

Well it seems the month of April has been quite a blurr – with annual paperwork (think d-day-due day) and multiple project kickoffs. Prominent in those beginnings was launching production for One For All Musical Theater’s next March musical drama. It will be an original show with the music and story line being written again by Kim Moore. For the moment we aren’t revealing the title, but it promises to be the biggest yet for the theater company and one that is likely to spark a lot of interest. The work on 18 songs has begun at Tesco Productions, and to date 13 of the guiding tracks have been recorded. Then it’s off to Tim Tyler Music for additional tracking before various elements of guitars, drums, vocals and other instrumentation will be added back here. This project is stretching us all, but reminds us that we have One greater who can pull it all together. We’re all looking forward to seeing the process, progress and completion some months from now of this next milestone in the journey of One For All Musical Theater.
